Privacy Policy
Overview
Length Tools is a static website. We do not require accounts, and we do not ask you to create a profile. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the site.
Converter inputs
Length conversion math runs in your browser. Values you type into the converters are not sent to or stored on a Length Tools server as part of the conversion itself.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies today. The site may store small preference values in your browser (for example light/dark appearance or accessibility toggles) so those choices can persist between visits. You can clear them with your browser settings.
Server and hosting logs
Like most websites, the host or CDN that serves Length Tools may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and time). We do not currently run a separate analytics product on top of those logs.
Third-party services
Length Tools self-hosts its fonts and does not use Google Fonts, Google Analytics, or advertising networks. One page embeds a YouTube video using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com); loading that page may cause your browser to request resources from YouTube/Google under YouTube’s own policies. Some pages also link out to external references (for example standards bodies or Wikimedia Commons); following those links takes you to third-party sites.
If we later add analytics or advertising (for example Google Analytics or Google AdSense), we will update this Privacy Policy to describe what is collected and how it is used.
Children’s privacy
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
